This is a very popular venue and getting a window seat overlooking the lake requires much pre-planning and reservations (but it is worth it). We went for Sunday Brunch and every table was taken. The Brunch tables offered quite a good selection of food. There was an omelet station, salads, cold and smoked seafood, seafood chowder/mussel station, meat-carving station (beef and pork), pasta, potatoes, bacon, sausage, Belgian Waffle station and cheese/dessert station. Something for everyone! (Coffee, tea, and orange juice are included too.) Prices are reasonable and they offer adult/children/senior rates. I do know that they serve dinner as well, but I am not sure whether it's buffet too. (Please note that the restaurant is not accessible and is located on the second floor of the building.)

Arrived about 12:00 on the nose for Brunch, ( This is also an excellent restaurant for dinner, this is just a brunch review) and it was very busy but we managed to get one of the few tables available, you might want to make a reservation. Our waiter Chris was fantastic and immediately offered us some champagne and orange juice as well as coffee, the coffee here is great ! We had a fantastic view of the lake and could see for miles. The brunch includes something for everyone, I had oysters, Alaskan King Crab, smoked salmon to warm up and then came back for some excellent Eggs Benedict. There are chefs constantly replenishing the stations, the stations are small and that's a good thing, it means the food is always FRESH, it doesn't sit for very long at all.Fresh omelettes are also made to order, there is the Cooker's amazing homemade Seafood Chowder, the Prime Rib is also excellent. The owner is also personally involved, making sure everyone is having a great time and has what they need and all for $ 34.00 including the champagne and that view, this is a GREAT way to enjoy a Sunday brunch.TIP: If you are on a tighter budget you can load up your plate and take it downstairs to Emma's Back Porch and eat for $ 22.00

6 adults and a baby visited on a Sunday morning for brunch without a reservation. We were seated immediately as there were plenty of tables inside and somewhat limited seating on the deck overlooking Lake Ontario. We still had a nice view through the window. We had a variety of drinks including craft beers that were very good. Main lunch courses were the beef dip, fish taco and corned beef sandwiches. All were very tasty as well as generous portions. Wait staff was cheerful, attentive and helpful. We all enjoyed the experience.

We were a party of seven who came here for a birthday celebration. We made a reservation and got a table against the window with just a spectacular view out over Lake Ontario. I highly recommend that you do that, it is just lovely. I always thought that this was a very high end restaurant, but it is more mid range (our server was wearing jeans). The food was quite good, and there was plenty to choose from. It was mussel night, and they have a large variety of sauces for the mussels. I was also impressed with the tuna poke (I had just been to Hawaii a few months ago, and this was an excellent interpretation!). The food was very good and plentiful, and the prices were very reasonable. Service was friendly. I would definitely come back.

We arrived as a party of four for brunch. I had made a reservation in advance. Upon arrival, we were led to a high top table. The majority of the table are regular tables and there were only a few high tops. The restaurant was quite empty at that point, only two or three tables were occupied. I explained that I am not comfortable sitting at a high top table and requested a regular table. The hostess seating us became agitated and told me that it was the only table as all other tables had reservations. I stated that we had a reservation as well, at which point she rolled her eyes and stomped off, leaving us standing in the middle of the restaurant. What followed was a buzz of activity, with the hostess entering into lengthy discussion with other individuals, then several employees moving tables and arranging tables and leaving us standing there.I felt quite uncomfortable at that point and my companions were looking around at the dozens of empty tables confused as to why we could not simply be seated at a regular table. After some time (at least five minutes, possibly more), someone else came over and seated us at a regular table. This introduction to this restaurant left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, and my excitement to try a new place was dampened. After that, we did enjoy the buffet. It was fresh, with a nice variety. There was some truly delicious cheese bread. The eggs bennie were nicely prepared and there were three varieties. Hubby ordered an omelet at the omelet station. It was dripping grease and he was not impressed. He did like the shrimp. The desserts looked and tasted as though they were bought in bulk from Costco. The fruit was fresh and we really enjoyed the waffles. Servers were pleasant but not particularly attentive. Coffee refills were never offered, nor were water refills--we had to flag down a server and ask.We were there for two hours and at no point did all the tables fill up, not even all the tables adjacent to the window. There were two window tables and numerous other tables that remained empty the entire time we were there. So I am still confused as to why it was such a big deal that we were not comfortable sitting at the high top table. Overall, I'd rate our brunch as 3.5 stars out of five.

A comida é muito boa, com variado cardápio, com destaque para as carnes. Mas o grande diferencial é a vista do lago, no meu caso com a sorte de ter arco íris ao entardecer.

The dinner was nice, staff was friendly. The portions could have been a bit bigger, however the service was fast and our server was lovely.

Just back from Easter brunch. The food selection is very good with everything from a waffle station (my favorite) to roast beef and seafood. Omelettes were a bit disappointing and lacking in flavour. Nice to have a Mimosa offered to start, too. We were 5 in number, and not one had a complaint about the food! Given that we all have dietary concerns, that is a miracle. I do wish they would clean up the restrooms, however. Such a disappointment to walk into a very odorous and not so clean looking room after a lovely meal. This has been the problem here for at least 25 years and is one of the reasons we rarely dine there. I know the building is old, but surely a bathroom update is within the realm of possibility. Can't be a lack of funds as the place is always busy. Come on, Management. Clean up!
