Customs were very nice - spoke for several minutes - asked questions on what our intentions were - plans of what we were going to do in Canada - asked if any weapons - drugs - cash of large amounts - took about 10 minutes the were let to cross over !

Even for a pure bar, this place is run down, not very clean, and the food is unappetizing - looks ok on the menu but wasn't very good when it came. It's in a pretty bad part of town - safety concerns are high, and the regular crowd seems to be pretty rough. I wouldn't go again.

food is horrible nothing but drug addicts , was propositioned twice for drugs, staff are rude and useless décor from mid 70's at best

This establishment is located in an area of Calgary that possesses one of the highest crime rates in Calgary. We used to meet here 25 years ago with friends after work for cheap happy hour drinks and good food but that was a long time ago and things have changed. A different crowd appears later in the evening. There is a big deck off the back of the bar that faces into an alley way and used for smoking. The bar has loud, live bands AND patrons. If you are a visitor, I would suggest you move along ... unless you enjoy living dangerously. or just love dive bars :)

A loud and rough bar. The food was terrible and the service slow. Would appeal to a Hells Angels biker gang perhaps but not for me. Will most definitely NOT be returning here.

Didn't eat here, was just there for drinks and to watch the bands. Loud, VERY local, definitely divey but fun. Not for the faint of heart by any means, but if you like that sort of place....stop in and see who's playing. smoking area out back.:) Bands are hit and miss, but good old rock and roll when I was there last.

Good specials on the food though the prices are always changing it seems and the service can be so-so.
