We go as a group to Pogues a lot and always have fun. The menu has something for everyone and the food is always good. Best chicken wings in town. The service is always good.

I went in with a friend and went back 2 weeks later with my family. We had the stuffed yorkshire appetizer, steak sandwich, caesar salad, and soup. The soup was made there, really hearty and flavourful. The yorkies, oh,the yorkies, so very good. The gravy had great flavour, the roast was tender and the yorkies were light and lovely. My steak was cook perfectly and the caesar was good. I would recommend this place to anyone. There are so many things left to try out there!

Had more fun than I expected. 3 rounds. Country, 90s and mix. Wings are plump and tasty. Nachos are very good.

Went over for lunch today, been there lots but first time to write a review. service was good and the food came fast. In times past the service was slow from the kitchen but these days it comes out quikly.Cream of celery soup was excellent and I should of had a bowl instead of just a cup

I'm basically a foodie lover.. I go and try different places for food..!! This was one of the best.. I love the Stir-fry they make.. The Drinks are on a bit expensive cost..But it's worth it ????????

I guess I just didn't expect a full on prime rib dinner. and so good too . ceaser salad to start. Yorkshire puddings, mashed and gravy, and DELICIOUS prime rib beef. and desert too. our server was just great. good thing this pub is not close to my home, or I would be there way more often, way out in Brock. The band was just setting up as we left. Wish we could have stayed. Why go anywhere else ?

Went to Pogue for their Monday 2 for 1 Fish & Chips. The fish was cooked just right, and the Chips were flavorful, I had the 2 piece fish, it was a $1 more for the second piece., How could I not? It was more than enough.

OK, this will be an interesting review because our group all had different experiences here over the 3 times we ate here. Here goes......If you are looking for off the shelf, typical pub grub everyone seemed to enjoy their food such as the beef dip (although the Guiness infused au juice seemed rather thin for having the beer in it), the pulled pork sandwich was tasty and the Thai chili sandwich was also good according to the person who ate that as was the Cottage Lunch from the March fresh sheet. Also good from the fresh sheet was the Shamrock Salad but note the fresh sheet changes monthly. Now for the inconsistencies. One person from our group ordered a Spanish rice dish from the fresh sheet. It was to have black beans and a number of other items that sounded good. When the plate arrived it looked like just a big plate of light red rice. The rice looked like and tasted like regular rice with barely any flavour one normally gets with Spanish rice. Plus the black beans were completely missing. When we noted this to our server she said the kitchen ran out of black beans and substituted pico de gallo instead. First off, the pico de gallo was part of the dish according to the menu and one doesn't substitute a protein with a condiment. The person said that wasn't acceptable and opted for the Shamrock salad instead.A few minutes later the server returned to say the kitchen found some black beans and would that be OK. Obviously, it wasn't. The Shamrock salad came out and it was, as noted before, quite tasty. The next time we came there were three of us and two ordered the Shamrock salad with chicken since it was good the first time. The chicken was a sliced, well seasoned breast and both people commented on how good it was.The third time they ordered the same salad again, but this time the chicken was diced with no seasoning as though they got a pack of diced chicken from the nearby grocery store and tossed it into the salad. So lets just say the kitchen is inconsistent. The service though was good. The server we had the last two times recognized us and was friendly but not that fake in your face "lets be BFF" style.
