Excellent fish & chips and great service. On the downtown strip near the water and easy access. Really enjoyed fish & chips with thin batter. You must try the halibut. The drinks are a tad expensive but refillable.

The staff was friendly and very polite you were made to feel at home as soon as you hit your table. I just stopped in with my son who was up for some chicken fingers and fries which in his words were some of the best he had eaten, huge plate of food. I came in for fish and chips silly boy just an amateur lol. This was great fish, as soon as i had about an inch of fish let the staff would come by to see if i wanted more of course i did great meal good value great food , great service a place not to miss.

Took our grandkids out for dinner there and waited a hour and a half. For what was ordered doesn't take that long kids were getting impatient on waiting most restaurants sends the kids food out first not there . when we decided to leave all we got was do you want us to pack it up and we said no then one if the waitress said oh that's a waste of food and they still made us pay for our drinks. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

Went to Captain George's place in Trent. It is very close to the Trent Port Marina. My friends and I each had the fish and chips dinners. I had the haddock and was very pleased with the deep fried fish. The fish was melt in your mouth. We also shared two of the desserts and both of them were fabulous! If you like fish this is a great place for dinner or lunch. Keep up the great work!

Stopped on a Friday at Captain Georges for a fish sandwich. We had a great halibut on. a bun and clam chowder. Chowder was really think with chunks of fish and potato, really good. Fish sandwich was a deep fried piece of halibut with coleslaw all on the bun. It was excellent, so fresh. Good coffee and drinks too. Great service, really friendly place.

Needed a bite to eat while driving through to Toronto and found this restaurant. I had the gyro and my partner had the chicken souvlaki pita and a side of cod. Excellent portions, juicy and perfectly spiced. The fish was fresh, not too greasy and a very generous portion too. The service was excellent. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Definitely worth the side trip.

I was on a fishing trip to Trenton recently with a buddy. We are catch and release fishermen. At the end of the day we were cold and wet and hungry! Restaurant is near boat launch and parkette. We both had haddock and chips and two beers.Service was prompt and friendly. When food was delivered, the portions were huge! Ithought the price was reasonable for 2 people. There is also a small patio overlooking park outside.

Was craving fish and chips remembering the days of my youth when it came wrapped in newspaper. I was not disappointed and the service was great too.
