Rocky Mountain Flatbread has consistently friendly, attentive service, great food, and a much better beer list than most restaurants in Kits! The new(ish?)

One of the worst meals I've ever had, pasta was overcooked, garlic bread tasted like mould, flys all over the restaurant, and they poured a ridiculous amount of poor quality wet goats cheese all over the top. hate leaving bad reviews but never again.

Went in and ordered a regular meatball spaghetti from the standard menu. Sitting right under the eyes of waitress less than 3 meters away while I am watching my iPhone. There are only about 5 or 6 customers including myself. Twenty minutes later, the waitress came by asking whether I got my order. She was the only one to serve in the restaurant with almost empty area!I politely told her that I want the refund if the order was not being processed. It took a while before I got the refund but not with the tax part. I decided to leave immediately and let them keep the tax money.

I came here for dinner on a quiet Sunday night. I had the four cheese ravioli which came out steaming hot. The sauce was plentiful and delicious, and the ravioli was nicely cooked. I enjoyed the generous portion of basil and parmesan on top. I did appear to have a smaller portion than my date, who ordered the penne arrabiata, which was too spicy for my taste but looked great. All in all it was delicious and I would come back. You have to order at the counter but they do bring you your food. It's very casual, small and bare bones decorations, There is an open and sometimes noisy kitchen and I found the seating a little cold on a cold January night. I'm guessing most people get take out here. Prices are cheap!

We stopped for dinner at Basil Pasta after a long walk on the beach. The pasta was delicious, it was only $9 compare to $20 anywhere else for the same quality. We spent a good time on their patio with the pasta and a glass of wine.Amazing place in Kitsilano to eat, drink and enjoy !
