The service is great and the food has always been excellent - we usually go for the halibut and chips and although the price is now over $21 per person it is well worth it - they give you a huge piece of fish!! My only negative comments - last week our waitress was wearing too much perfume .. and I find this offensive when I'm eating. My mother took a tumble down the one step in the dining area last year but happily they seem to have added additional lighting as we've heard of others who have tumbled. It has a definite English pub atmosphere and although the rugs and decor are dated this can be overlooked because of the quality of the food.

the vegan options in this restaurant are more than most. most menus are vegan or vegan. eating is great, the staff is friendly, and the total service and the prices are great. inside the horn of plenty there are also other vegan friendly foods around the caffe!

Slow service, mediocre food quality. Still the tired decor of the former Schwaben Inn with the same menu. Hopefully the new restaurant, which is replacing Nostalgia and is not yet open has something different to offer.

Burgers served lukewarm this has to be a safety issue!And staff need to work of courtesy, politeness, kindness!! Have been to the Waterdown location twice recently and staff are dismissive, bordering on rude.

Interesting looking establishment and decided to stop in for dinner. Family type and the setting was very retro - almost went looking for the juke box while sitting in the booth. Order our meal and decided on salad as a side instead of home fry's. Ask and they said no problem. Fried liver with onions with a side salad and hot roast beef was good. Very basic serving, meat, vegetables and one other side. Order at the cashier and the food was delivered to the table. Very friendly atmosphere.

A lovely restaurant with an intimate feel to it. You feel special from the moment you walk in the door and the service is excellent. Fantastic food and can be topped with the added bonus of items being made fresh at your table. We tend to go here for date night for a special occasion as it is a bit pricey but overall a lovely experience and great food.

they sell “Nate’s bagels and gluten free goods” in the freezer – they had gf bagels, focaccia and tortillas. I have the bagels and the focaccia and they are amazing! the focaccia is the star!
