I went here with a small escort group after I should look giant sleeping in westdale (excellent film btw)
Atmosphere- behind a huge wooden door, as it should be at the entrance of a medeival castle, is a disappointing entrance they go down the hall to the escort. bright, clean with retro-foodie poster on the wall nice but not at all front positions.
Food started with calamari- it was nicely baked with a beautiful Aoli sauce. I liked it, but with calamari I tend to like it a bit crispy. this is my own fault that I did not ask for it to be mains in group included eggplant parm. it was exquisite. layers of aubergines, cheese and sauce. melt in your mouth. calzone much more filling than brot, that is the preferred wise for most of us. Compared to the other places in westdale thay serve them express and valentinos) this is by far the best choice. pizza that was a disappointment. not enough sauce and not enough cheese. if I asked for extra sauce (without fee) for the diving helped but if I would order again, I would ask for extra cheese and extra sauce. a bit dry <br they also need a bowl.of sauce. the potatoes and the nice with him were very delicious. minestrone suppe filled with a tonne vegatbles. my ess companion took half of it home, it was so full. it was strange that no brot came to the table to eat with the meal. it would have been a good compliment for the net.
Service we had waitresses in combination that served us. both were pleasant and we didn't wait for our food.
Impression I am going back, but there are so many other good Italian places to eat in the city, so it will take one.
