We had a reservation for 730 and they actually phoned us to let us know they were running ahead of schedule and that they could seat us early. They covid screened at the door, and all other parties of diners were seated far apart. Our...whole order was correct and delicious: we had a pint, a Shirley Temple, endless Caesar salad, bread, Spicy Pepper Penne and Cheese Capelletti. Everything was prompt and hot. Our server's name was Diana and she was fast and pleasant. Thank you ESM Queenston for a lovely anniversary meal.
We had dinner, here, as we hadn't been here for awhile. There was one order for the Aribiatta Penne and one for Spaghetti with meatballs. The penne arrived and was not very warm; the meatballs didn't have any sauce on them. When our server arrived, the problems were rectified. We were both happy with our meals in the end. Our server was very pleasant.
I had a wonderful time here with my family. When we arrived it was a little busy but we were seated fast. The staff is nice, friendly and kind. The service was fast and the food was great.
Both husband and I enjoyed our meals. We both had carbonarra which was good along with endless ceasar salads and loaves. My only complaint is that they have switched to Margarine instead of butter and unfortunately the carbonarra is now scallop free but still acceptable.
Good food, good service, and a clean restaurant. We didn't have to wait for a table. Server was very knowledgeable of the menu.
TwoInMaine stopped here for a quick lunch, turning off the highway between Buffalo and Detroit. Lunch was OK, not great, tasted reheated (except for a surprisingly good salad) and tired - food was red with tomato and green with salad, and inexpensive. The bonus was our server, who heard our non-Canadian accents, found out we were from The States, and told us why we should not vote for a candidate I will not name but who is running for President and is male with blonde hair. Lunch took about half an hour. The Political Advice took almost 15 minutes. We may try another quick stop when next in Hamilton.
My wife, in-laws and myself attended this location recently and overall, we had an enjoyable time. We ordered the all you can eat pasta/salad specials along with some drinks and everything was pretty good. Our server was Laura who was fantastic, very friendly, attentive and professional.As mentioned, while we did enjoy our visit, there are definitely signs of "wear and tear" throughout the restaurant, such as the menus being faded/torn, some of the dish ware being chipped and even the furniture being in need of an update.Other than that, an enjoyable time was had by all!
Always order chicken parm and am never disappointed ! Love the drink specials , great atmosphere and service has been very good . Great place for date night or family dinner !
