We did not have a reservation but the restaurant was not very full so we had no problem getting a table. The menu was expensive and we selected what we thought would be a reasonable reasonable meal but the portions were far larger than what...we expected. Clearly the kitchen was ready as our food came very quickly. The food was a bit salty for our tastes.
The food was very good. The bowl was a small portion but tasty, but the Yakisoba portion was perfect and was delicious. We will be back.
Anybody who is looking for well prepared Asian food will find that this place is a jewel. The choices we had were well prepared, fresh and nicely presented. Prices are reasonable as well. it is an excellent stop for a good meal. This place is clean, and the furnishings are sparse and plain. It is not a place for a romantic dinner, but as far as the food is concerned, you cannot go wrong.

Had a pork dish, was small and bland, expensive for what you get and sorry but no atmosphere. Hope they can improve with time

This is a new restaurant on the Transcanada highway in Golden. It is definitely worth stopping, especially if you are, like me, a vegetarian unsure where to eat as you travel. Golden tends to be challenging for vegetarians, like many interior BC towns. Q offers an Asian fusion menu with many choices. The dishes I had were delicious and beautifully presented. The decor is upscale for this kind of restaurant on the strip and very welcoming. It is bright, airy and spacious. The service was great. I dined with family and everyone was impressed with the food, and prices are very reasonable. We had an active 16 month old with us, and there was enough space for him to run around a bit without unduly disturbing other diners. One suggestion, they will need to install blinds on the west side of the building as the sun is blinding coming in the window, but the view of the snow-capped Purcells is a plus. I hope this restaurant succeeds. It certainly deserves to thrive.
