I discovered this place when I went to Kantor to trade in some of my foreign cash. After finishing with Kantor, I walked around the plaza and saw the Arkady Bistro Cafe. It was packed with people which is always a good sign. I went in and looked at their hot table and saw all their authentic Polish food, with lots of choices. I had the bass with potato dumplings and 2 salads (coleslaw and Caesar). All the hot meals have a starch side and two salad sides. The portions are very generous, and the food was good. I had to ask for a box to take home the leftovers. You can get the meals as takeout but the restaurant is nicely set up with comfortable tables and chairs and nice decor. The Polish always like things to be nice! There were obviously friends there that had gone for a coffee or a quick meal.

I went here on a recommendation. It was truly like getting dropped into my mother in laws kitchen. Great Polish food and lots of choice. I recommend to anyone looking for good Polish food

Had some relatives come in from Ft. Lauderdale and staying in Mississauga. They wanted something unique and authentic. No Italian, west indian or burgers. I am from Burlington had not been in Mississauga for awhile, did google and saw this come up. We went and the people there was so good, they let us try a little of this and that as we had never had Polish food before. We had Ribs, schnitzel, chicken livers and to die for, real potatoes (They are not boxed). It was awesome. I will be returning, and when people come to visit for sure, they will be going. Thank you so much, a must try. NOTE: Bring cash, as they do not accept credit cards and foreign debit cards

This is the 3rd time I have been to Arkady cafe. It is a bit away from my normal track. Well worth the detour on a Sunday evening. It is a hot table cafe. So lots of great selections. I had roast pork with buckwheat and gravy. My sides were beet salad and sour coleslaw. The portions are huge so if you want to mix and match and share go for it.The food is delicious and they have a good selection of pastries and polish soft drinks and juice. They also have a liquor license so libations are available.

Home made Polish cuisine that makes your mouth water. I had to come to Canada to find tripe soup. Amazing, yummy, delicious, fresh, tasty and real food. There is a lot of choices; every day they have 3 soups, (I love soups), to choose from, also they have different food specials every day. You can see the actual food when you order. Everything looks in mouth watering fashion and everything is so good. I ate so much I had a hard time getting up. I really enjoyed my visit to Arkady Bistro Cafe. Its a bit far from my place,(down-town Toronto), but its worthy driving there. I'll be back soon. Highly recommended.

Freshly made soups, bread, entres and deserts. Authentic Polish food, made with love. Pickle soup was excellent. Everything is a feast for the eyes!

Two of us had lunch there---it is a hot table configuration--you order at the food bar and take it to your table. I had the pork cutlet--sadly overcooked and dry and not hot!The condiments are large containers located right at the entrance door---not convenient at all for sit down customers and the large dispenser containers not all suitable for seniors. The restaurant primarily serves the carry out lunch crowd---obviously eat ins are not their prime market.
