My family and I visited many restaurants and this restaurant is the worst ever. The staff are so rude, regretted visiting such an unpleasant place and never recommend it to anyone.
Worst restaurant ever! Very rude and impolite staff. The manager engaged into a fight with us and started screaming at us. Will never be visiting there again!.
Went as a big group for a birthday meal, very good ambience and good staff, they served fairly in good time and the food tasted amazing with a few twists of their own the presentation was impressive, the cost seems on a higher scale in the end it seems worth it
Went there on Sunday eve,it was pretty busy.there decor and presentation is really nice and different from other restaurants.portion size were pretty big.2 adults and a kid ate for $40 .
Found this place using google search. The decor is beautiful in here and the attention to detail, down to the silverware and cups/serving dishes really transports you to Damascus. The food itself was so yummy. We left stuffed. Owner and servers were super friendly and helpful. Wish I lived in the west end. I would frequent this place if they had a more central location. Popped in here since we happened to be in the west end that day.
We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the welcoming. The service was great The breakfast was really authentic Syrian This the first high class Arabic food restaurant in Mississauga. The cleanness of all restaurant and the wash area was top Well done
Many customers who visit this restaurant are taken by the lovely decor and the ambiance as well as the fancy utensils they have placed on the tables but the quality and quantity of food is absolutely below average; I can do a better job preparing this food at home. This is no way near authentic Syrian food because I know what authentic Syrian food really tastes like and this is a joke. Small portions and overpriced, you leave this restaurant with lovely selfies and fancy photos but food isn't very satisfying. The fattoush salad looks great from the top but once you get it out of the jar, it's mostly lettuce and very few good ingredients, they do a fine job in hiding small portions in a very fancy way. After you finish your food, the servers expect you to leave and if you stay for a bit they start giving you dirty looks which is such bad customer service. I ended up paying $80 for tiny portions of food. I am very disappointed at how middle eastern restaurants are operating in the GTA, they are scamming people with fancy decor and the quality of food doesn't come near such standard. Paramount and Roman Zaman have been my worst middle eastern restaurant experiences ever. I am rating Roman Zaman low because of their bad customer service and over priced food and the quality of food is pretty average. If you know how to cook; I am sure you can do a better job.
