Luckily our first choice refused to seat us without reservation. So we walked down the street to the Paris Grill. I was a little off put by the storefront look of the restaurant but my worries were soon eliminated because from the start to finish the food, appetizers, drinks and dessert and service completely top notch Henri our waiter was great at his job. The shoestring fries were great steak perfectly cooked. Blood pudding, veal liver, sweetbread plate was incredible the triple tartare plate with duck, salmon and Italian beef tartare. Wish I had more room to eat. Pictures to follow

Walked in without reservation and ate at the bar. Honestly have never had a bad meal when choosing to eat at the bar. Had the steak and when it arrived it was cool and over cooked - hesitated but informed our server and it was immediately taken away and very shortly perfectly prepared steak and frites arrived. The manager delivered our steaks and I honestly feel that he was sincere in his apologies. I almost forgot to add ... we shared a savoury creme brulé and it was outstanding so much so that we will search out a recipe and attempt it on our own but whenever in Québec City will definitely return. Sunday breakfast was outstanding, portion was perfect and the food excellent quality.

Some of our group members travelled here for our restaurant of the month club to try it out. We arrived and found parking was in an underground parking lot. You can take the elevator right to the restaurant, so no need to go outside. Great for winter! Unfortunately our evening did not get off to a good start as we had to wait, despite having a reservation. The hostess was actively looking for a table to finish and as soon as someone left the staff rushed to prepare it for us. Both the hostess and the manager were apologetic and we ended up having a nice conversation with Nadia, the manager, while waiting. When we were finally seated, we were served by Demi who was friendly and engaging. The food was delicious, though some of my group members were disappointed that they had run out of their appetizer selection on the table d’hote. We enjoyed soup, calarmari and cheese fondue with blueberry compote as appetizers and filet mignon and duck as our main courses. Dessert was profiteroles, cheese cake, creme brulee. The food was delicious, cooked perfectly and well presented. We enjoyed some drinks including the spritz zeste, paris politan and lemonade with rose water with a shot of vodka and wine and sparkling wine, all of which were enjoyable. The sparkling wine was provided complimentarily to apologize for our wait and a free piece of chocolate mousse birthday cake was provided to one of us celebrating a birthday. The ambiance was nice, not too loud even though it was a large space, the service impeccable and Nadia and Demi and the hostess whose name I unfortunately do not recall went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable experience! I recommend that they set limits like many restaurants do, whereby people are given blocks of time for their reservations that they must respect and that after 15 minutes of lateness for a reservation that it is lost, this would prevent others with reservations from having to wait almost 45 minutes for a table.

Service was impeccable, food fantastic, atmosphere enjoyable and prices reasonable. What more could you ask of a restaurant?

We dropped in here because it was across the street from our hotel and still open in the evening, unlike most of the restaurants in the area (QC's financial district). It is a huge brasserie with a stylish atmosphere, clearly popular with the locals who had brought at least two birthday parties there for the evening. We both had a salmon cannelloni smothered in a mild local cheese that was excellent. Friendly, prompt service.

We went there to celebrate a special occasion. The service was great, nice atmosphere, easy parking, but the food lagged behind. And I don't mean it isn't good, it just isn't as great as the atmosphere suggests. In the end, we were somewhat disappointed for not having our expectations met.

Great service. Very friendly. Food and drinks a little pricey. Order the ribeye it was cooked to the right temp but fairly bland. My wife's meal was just ok. Wouldn't go back.
