A good restaurant experience consists of two major components; great food and service. The food here was very good and consistent with other reviews. In spite of having a reservation (made 3 days earlier), there was no chair for one of our party of 4. This tiny restaurant was full and 1 chair from our assigned table had been moved. Instead of having us wait at the entrance, or seat us temporarily at the bar (where there were 6 empty bar stools), they simply sat 3 of us, left the 4th standing with no explanation whatsoever. Of course, we should have left. But with no explanation, we felt that a chair would quickly be provided. We waited politely for 5 minutes before we had a opportunity to ask. The owner had gone home to get another chair. We waited another 5 minutes with one of us standing, embarrassing for all patrons. The owner finally gave us a chair just saying this hadn't happened before. Then, we were finally offered menus and beverage service. There was no compensation for this whatsoever. In fact, we were charged with an extra meal at the end of the evening. This was fixed. What a ridiculous scenario. We won't be back. They need to figure out how to treat their patrons,
