We thoroughly enjoyed our meal it was delicious and very large portions. Very quaint and real nice atmosphere. Reservation recommended.
The staff is friendly and the food is excellent. We went before a concert at the Arden and there was enough room we did not really need reservations but as we left there were only a few tables unoccupied. I had baked tortellini, I can without reservation, recommend it. I would not hesitate to return.
We visited Luisa for dinner before a show at the Arden, so were quite early. The restaurant filled up quickly with other show patrons. We did have a reservation and witnessed several people being turned away. We ordered wine, which we sent back because it was flawed. There was not too much problem with this, a different wine was brought. Our meal was only mediocre, pasta was nothing special, and it was not very hot. We ordered desert to share and almost had to leave without it as we seemed to have been forgotten. I think we will not go to this restaurant again.
A good restaurant experience consists of two major components; great food and service. The food here was very good and consistent with other reviews. In spite of having a reservation (made 3 days earlier), there was no chair for one of our party of 4. This tiny restaurant was full and 1 chair from our assigned table had been moved. Instead of having us wait at the entrance, or seat us temporarily at the bar (where there were 6 empty bar stools), they simply sat 3 of us, left the 4th standing with no explanation whatsoever. Of course, we should have left. But with no explanation, we felt that a chair would quickly be provided. We waited politely for 5 minutes before we had a opportunity to ask. The owner had gone home to get another chair. We waited another 5 minutes with one of us standing, embarrassing for all patrons. The owner finally gave us a chair just saying this hadn't happened before. Then, we were finally offered menus and beverage service. There was no compensation for this whatsoever. In fact, we were charged with an extra meal at the end of the evening. This was fixed. What a ridiculous scenario. We won't be back. They need to figure out how to treat their patrons,
Was celebrating my birthday and my brother's birthday with a bunch of family. Made a reservation, and they had two personalized birthday cards for us on the table when we arrived! It was so sweet. Everyone loved their food (especially the lamb shank special) and the staff were great. Some of the best customer service I've experienced at a restaurant. Loved the decor and the vibe in general. Will definitely be going back!Vegetarian options: The mediteranneo pizza was everything I want in a pizza! Not greasy, not too heavy, packed with veggies, perfect cheese/sauce ratio, and it was piping hot when it got to the table :)Parking: Easy parking right behind
The entrees were tasty and the portions were large. We had the cannelloni, a pizza and another pasta dish with vodka. This is a small restaurant which has re-done its seating. There is a padded bench seat against the wall which is uncomfortable for shorter persons. The seat is a space saver, but it should be looked at again for reupholstering. The music was operatic which we enjoyed and just the right volume. Service was very good.
The Lamb Shank special was superb. This is a small but very unique establishment. The staff were very attentive
Anniversary Dinner. ROCCO took great care to ensure our experience was good despite being caught out of stock.on a couple of items. The bruschetta, sambuka shrimp, and Veal all really good. Thanks we will be back soon.
