This is a typical Timmies. The service is usually good and the parking lot is small and often crowded.
Not sure why I'm seeing any bad reviews. I stayed at the no tell motel next door last year and had 3 decent meals a day here. Now back for an encore and I'm still happy. Tried a couple of other fast food places here Castlegar and they were anything but fast! I get the sense that the owner of this place has a hands on approach to running his business, and it shows. I see locals coming through for their "standing orders" and travellers such as myself being treated with respect. Drive by the places right next to the highway and check out Castlegar along the short drive to this Tims!
Nothing to write home about here! Seems like the only one in town on main drag so location was helpful as I was working downtown.
Great mochas and everything else! When we're north of the border I'm always on the lookout for a Tim Hortons!
I cannot believe how rude the lady was that took our order! She's the older lady that works here and I have never been treated so poorly in my life! Start to finish she had a terrible attitude. I would never in my life return to this place because of her. Hire better people Tim Horton's, she's an absolutely terrible human being. I ordered water but was rudely told that the truck wasn't here with the shipment so she had no water in the place. I asked for a green tea and asked if I could get sweetener or sugar and was literally yelled at by her saying "which one!?" And then when I went back to order timbits to go she had nothing but attitude. Absolutely horrible.
This is the worst tim hortons I have ever been to. They never ever get my coffee right, 1 milk and 1 sugar shouldn't be that hard but apparently it is. Also, they have a lot of staff now that are hard of English, and the one shorter guy that seems to work in the morning a lot is a huge pervert. He manages to make me uncomfortable every single time I go through the drive through. I have actually managed to cut Tim Hortons out of my life because the one here in castlegar is so frustrating!!!
Timmies is a favourite spot in Castlegar to meet friends or just stop in for a donut. You never know who you will bump into. I go there more often now that they are serving sandwiches.
I really love going here for coffee, French Vanilla is my favorite. I used to order the bagel sandwiches a lot but now whenever I order a sandwhich with bacon I either dont get any, or when I ask for extra bacon that I pay for there is still very few pieces.. Im not sure why this started happening in the last few months but I decided not to get them anymore as I was paying 8 or 9 dollers to get 3 pieces of bacon on my turkey bacon club bagel.. still, its is a great place for drinks and the morning shift still makes me quite happy.
