This was my first time at Zinc for dinner and my first visit since Doreen Prei joined Zinc as Executive Chef, so expectations were high. The experience did not disappoint. Our server was exceptional and our food was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the scallops and short ribs and I enjoyed the spaetzle and pan seared duck breast. I'd also recommend the warm bread with truffle butter. Our desserts honey lavender creme brulee for my husband and banana bread pudding for me were a wonderful end to our meal. Zinc has a great wine selection as well, and our server was very knowledgeable and was able to offer suggestions. Our one tiny complaint is that our table was in a bit of an awkward spot near the doors so people needed to squeeze between our table and the banquette behind us on their way out. All and all, a fantastic evening. Zinc is one that we will definitely be returning to.
