During the weekends this place transforms into an amazing vegan brunch place. Food is great and portions are decent. If you arrive early, chances are they will accept you without a reservation. My only suggestion would be to add filtered refill coffee. I'd have loved to caffeineate myself over a longer period of time.. 10/10

Antidote grew from a grocery store with take out sandwiches into a delightful full service restaurant in only 2 years. It was completely remodeled in December 2016.They are still working out their menu, so you can count on something new with every visit. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon while brunch was still being served and enjoyed the scrambled tofu and french toast.I have been a vegan for over 40 years and it is a very rare thing to come across vegan food prepared at such a high level, with beautiful presentation and delicious gourmet quality cooking. The staff was cheerful. The service quick. The pricing affordable.I am certain that Antidote will be a well know restaurant as its reputation grows.

The first thing you need to order, if available, is the "Big Burger". The menu changes daily, but the Big Burger is usually there. Good lord, its so good. Its difficult to find restaurants that actually craft their own veggie burgers, and Antidote has crafted a real winner here. The soups are also top notch, and we tried both the lentil/vegetable varieties. The smoked meat sandwich is equally impressive. The cooks have done a fabulous job imitating the texture of pulled pork, so you'll certainly want to try each variety. The pate rendition of sandwiches is also tasty, so don't overlook it! The only issue you'll have is parking, which is hit or miss on the street. So, good luck with that. Prices are more than some other places, but we didn't find it unreasonable. Portion sizes were on par with other restaurants serving similar food. If you're vegetarian/vegan, Antidote should certainly be on your list!

the place is nice, the products are fresh but then there is no added value to the atmosphere and the dishes. You'll pay enough for a banal and under-controlled kitchen. I can't believe the small vegan croissant announced at $4 tx, wrapped in a big smile. Vegan business, one more.

Eclectic atmosphere rather nice. On the other hand, the service is more than average. It must have taken about 20 minutes before we come to answer, and the service in general was very expedient. the waitress didn't really take the time to answer the questions, while we weren't all familiar with the menu and/or vegan food in general. food had nothing special as well. The way tasted the kind of fake bacon bought in large surface. a home eggplant bacon (or other) would have been more appropriate. the toast was soft, warm food. Anyway, bof.

Food is good. However the meals are prepared to replace traditionnel meat food, such as vegy burger and vegy cheese. I feel like I eat vegan but I miss meat and stuff like that, which it is not the case. I would appreciate receipes for vegans. However, the restaurant is interesting and food is good.

We got take-out here during our trip to Montreal. The restaurant has a laid-back, cozy feel with great background music. We ordered the poutine "hot chicken" and the "pulled pork" burger, and we were very impressed with both dishes - exactly how comfort food should taste! The only downside was price - a little on the steep end. Also, the staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall, a good eat!

Last party dinner was held at the antidote. the restaurant is well decorated and warm, with very good music. The food was excellent: a delicious cheddar and vegan bacon burger, a good bottle of private import white wine and an excellent cupcake. We were about 20 and the service was fast and courteous.
