this place was really good with decent portions. now it is $17 for 5 small pieces of short ribs. they also refuse to give them bbq sauce because “it does not come with their combo”. serious? terrible worker and management is clearly pennys. it is not worth coming back. stay away and just go to a Korean bbq restaurant. it will be cheaper.

Went tonight with family. I remember there was so much hype when it opened up so decided to give it a try. My parents arrived first and then I arrived shortly after. My parents told me they had to grab the menu from the next table because no one brought them menus after being seated. I was surprised to hear that since there weren't that many filled tables, probably about four? After I sat down one of the waitresses threw a pencil down on the table and walked away and I was like...wow great service. My brother eventually flagged someone down for more menus and order sheets. Yes they don't take verbal orders but instead give you a "menu" and you check off what you want. We finally ordered and the waitress repeated and counted what we checked off on the sheets. Food gradually arrived. Because I was ordering for my kids too so I kinda guessed what was arriving and designated either dish to the appropriate person...until an extra dish showed up and I asked the waitress why they are giving us an extra dish. The waitress insisted that we had ordered everything on the table until I demanded to check the sheets we had checked off. After a little confusion, she came back and said one of the dishes was given to us by mistake and she took the wrong dish away. No apologies whatsoever. Food were definitely not very good. Paid extra for lobster bisque with the meals and it had no hint of lobster or lobster taste in it, oddly enough it had small pieces of shrimps in it though. I don't know if they were trying to fool people or what. My dad did try to order the mixed seafood grille but they said they were out of lobster so I don't know if that had anything to do with it. Strange though because another table ordered lobster and they got it. On a side note, table behind us want to order something else and the waitress said they are out of that too. What kind of restaurant is this lol? I ordered baked pork chop on spaghetti for two of my kids. They each had a small bowl and said they didn't want seconds. I tasted the spaghetti and I am pretty sure they were way undercooked. My daughter said my cooking is much better than theirs, hands down. General comment on the food were not very good and very salty. Upside was portion were big although most of us didn't even want to take the leftovers home. With all the restaurant choices in Richmond nowadays, I would probably never return to this restaurant ever again. It was just...yuck. Terrible terrible experience. The onions rings was probably the best thing we had, and that wasn't that good either. Even A&W onion rings are wayyyyyy better.
