Having visited Shotz twice now, I have been twice disappointed. The owners seem like genuinely nice people, but the food and staff are dismal. Both times I went the fries were seriously undercooked, and the food is low standard, although it's definitely bar fare, so my expectations were possibly out of line going in (we went in to visit for the restaurant, not bar, services). What really makes Shotz suffer is the service. Whether a worker is a waitress or a server, I expect a smile and at least the pretense of enthusiasm. The young woman waiting on our table was rude and rarely came by, when we had a problem with our order, she was indifferent bordering on hostile. I can look past the grub, but the terrible service will absolutely mean we won't be back again.
In Feb. of 2017 some experienced restaurant people purchased this lounge and it has become incredible. Fresh food and friendly service are their moto and they sure live up to it. If you are at the Tri Leisure Centre in Spruce Grove you must drop by!

a few days after Christmas our family decided to go to this new family restaurant. it was her daring night and although the usual dart crowd wasn't there, we decided to get out for a little. it was a great experience. they were set up for the dart tourney, so of course we played. we took children when babysitting were hard to find. there are many activities for all (kids in the age of 6 years

pleasant surprise! beautiful sitting corner. air hockey, pool table, 5 old school arcade game(s). child friendly. I sat on spaghetti night. everything you can! the poutin I saw was gigantic! fair prices. service was great! we really enjoyed it! will come back!
