We were staying down the street and came across the restaurant after passing up another one. Service friendly with a smile, had live music playing and food was delicious.

We just walked in to this place without knowing anything or reading any reviews. Surprisingly good, staff were great , nice and attentive. The food took a while but was worth the wait, they also had live music. Prices were decent too. I highly recommend this place .

My friend and I were wondering where to go for dinner and happened by Cucina Linda. At first I thought it looked closed, but then we saw some people inside so we checked the menu and went in. There were only a few people inside and it looked a bit dated but... The waitress was very cheerful and friendly and helped us with our menu questions. I got the tortellini Gigi which was sooooo good and the portion was huge (you can also get a half portion for 2$ less). My friend got this soup with egg and cheese and parsley that tasted like Italy somehow. She was generous with the Parmesan (yay!) and after dinner they offered us a free aperitif so we had Zambuka to go with our desserts. Overall very nice staff and delicious food, very affordable and big selection and many table d'hôtes to choose from. Will definitely go again!

What a nice surprise to have dinner in this resto. We were two couples. There was music and little space to dance. The locals seem to gather here for an evening of fun.The food was very good and the owner was especially nice and helpful and funny. Great place and reasonably priced.

Nice italian cuisine. Excellent service with a smile. Everything is delicious. We had linguine alfredo, shrimp spaghetti, pizza, tortellini rose and no unpleasant surprise, every plate was excellent. Recommand to everyone and will return for sure.

Went there with my toddler. Little guy wanted pasta. Tried Linda and loved it. The place is very welcoming, the ladies serving are very warm people. The portion is very generous. There were quite a few people eating that evening and the restaurant was still quiet. There's a lot of good things I could say about the food but most of all it's worth mentionning that the staffs care about the customers. The price is a little above but you pay for great food, great service and a good time.

Went there on a Thursday night with my wife and mom. Greetings and service makes you feel welcomed and part of the family. We had the evening special (table d'hôte) which had a good diversity and ... very reasonable prices ( soup or salad, meal, desert and coffee, most choices for under $20). My wife has the salmon which was tasty and perectly cooked. The minestrone soup was excellent. I personally had spaghettti polpetta, and was jealous because I thought I had the perfect meatball receipe at home, but they were 'on the ball '.The service was great, the waitress asked us if she could call us by our first names, which had never happened to me in any restaurants, anywhere, and made us feel part of the family.

Cucina Linda is close to home and it was cold so a quick walk to the corner and I was inside. From the outside it looked quiet, but inside it was full so I had a short wait until a couple left. This place is obviously a local favourite, so it clearly meets the expectations of people in Verdun. Anyway, the menu contains a lot of standard breakfast choices, but I opted for their special. Eggs, bacon, sausage, toast (choice of brown or white), fruit, pain dore, pancake, fried potatoes, cretons, feve au lard. Coffee was just the usual ordinary coffee. The only odd thing was the cheese which was a slice of ghastly orange Kraft processed cheese served in its plastic wrapping. Apart from that, the breakfast was good! There are a lot of options in Verdun these days for breakfast, but I would definitely come back for a good basic breakfast. Good atmosphere too, with loads of families.
