The food is great at Oscar's and we enjoy frequenting for Brunch, and recommend it to everyone! However, please note that as policy they do not accept reservations - even if you're booking through OpenTable! Seating is based on a first come, first seated basis. Be aware that they will accept an online reservation, with no intention of honoring it if seating is full.
We had breakfast here this morning while staying at the Waldorf Astoria. The food was exceptional on the buffet with a wide variety of choices. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and sweet. It is my husband's birthday today. I mentioned it when I made reservations. This being a breakfast restaurant, I only expected them to wish my husband a happy birthday. They went above and beyond by bringing out a personal cake with a candle and the words "Happy Birthday" written on the plate in chocolate. What a treat! It is a bit pricey but it is worth every penny!
We were immediately seated with our open table reservation. The food offerings were high quality, with great selection, in a "Waldorf Astoria" setting of elegance. The staff was very personable. In the serving line , I had asked for sugar free syrup, but they said they didn't have any. (odd I thought), so I mentioned it to my server, who promptly smiled and said, ah but I do! and went and brought back a small cup of s/f syrup. I will be going back for my husband's conference in May (coincidentally at the same hotel) and I will definitely be making a reservation...I think I'll do that right now before I forget....
First time here, came solely because of Yelp reviews. Had a reservation, but it wasn't full.
Excellent service when we arrived after making an online reservation using Trip Advisor. Our table was waiting including special requests (allergy) had been noted. Waiter was helpful in ordering. We had bison and prime rib both prepared as requested. Prime rib was particularly delicious.
First visit was Valentine’s Day. Was easy to find and plenty of street parking. My reservation did not come up but was seated right away. The tables are close together but was still comfortable. The ambiance was soothing and comfortable. The chairs could use a sprucing up though. And the ceiling. It took a bit of time to get our drinks but not overly. After that we had no service complaints. We started off with the mussels. Delicious. The broth was unique. My husband had the elk ribeye. The red pepper jelly sauce had a pleasant heat to it. The golden beets and other veggies were plentiful and tasty. His potato was overdone as the skin was tough. But the insides were flavorful. The elk was nummy. I had the tenderloin. I thought I had melt in your mouth steak before but this was melt in your mouth steak. So good. You should go. Open Range is worth it
