I've always wanted to try out this place but I didn't get to until a few days ago.

We had been here a couple times and got the pad thai, which is fine at best, but decided to get something else this time. Don't do that. It's just plain bad. Apparently the smoothies are good.

Eternal Abundance is an organic and vegan cafe and fresh market on Commercial Drive. I had been exploring the funky and laid-back neighbourhood around Commercial Drive when I discovered this cafe and decided to stop in. I ordered a delicious berry smoothie but the cafe also served a variety of salads and other healthy vegetarian dishes made using fresh organic ingredients. There was seating at the front of the building and outdoors on the sidewalk. There was also a small market inside the cafe with a variety of fresh produce, dry ingredients, and locally produced foods and snacks. I loved the chill, cozy and inviting atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. The neighbourhood was peaceful and relaxed and there was a small park next to the cafe where some local musicians were playing live music. I loved this cafe and will definitely visit here again next time I am in Vancouver!

Good for breakfast, 0 ambiance, not too friendly, the food is ok. The quinoa waffles disappointed but the tofu scramble my husband tried was pretty good. No coffee, though.

Don't expect an apology from anyone when they make a mistake. "I'm sorry" is not part of their vocabulary. If you're not happy about something, expect an argument. The food is overpriced and the portions are small. The staff seem bored and depressed. There's a heavy, dark aura in this place. All they care about is making money. They are so afraid of getting ripped off, that they make you pay before you eat. I have never eaten at any other restaurant that charges the customer first. Cramped, uncomfortable seats. No service. No one offers you a glass of water. No one asks you if everything is okay with your meal. No ambience whatsoever. They certainly don't care if you eat there or not, or if you ever come back. Poor value for the amount of money they charge. Agpathetic, indifferent staff. Not recommended !!!
