Stumbled on this place when walking along Davie Street. Don't be put off by the exterior or any lack of people inside. Go out the back to sit on the patio. Choice of food was great and taste brilliant.
Amazing food! Reasonably priced. Very unique experience, like no othe restaurant in the city. Friendly service. Will be back for sure! ???? Many delicious vegetarian options too! tingmo is like a savoury bread roll. Melts in your mouth.
I found this restaurants walking by during my business trip in Vancouver. Service was good, food was below average. I am part of East India and I am well known to East Indian/ Nepali food and the food were served no where matching near to my expectation. Food served me cold, and taste was horrible. Restaurant is small, and price is expensive than other Indian restaurants near by. I prefer not to visit this place again.
We found this restaurant walking by while on our vacation in Vancouver.Service was the best, every dish was cooked to perfection....the sauces were tasting and spiced heat wise to our individual liking- hot, medium or mild.We loved the food so much we returned the next night.My next Vancouver trip I'll be visiting them again....
This was an awesome dining experience! I wish we had one in Los Angeles. I'll be dreaming of the roti and Himali chicken for years to come. When in Vancouver, climb the flight of stairs for your heavenly experience too. You must have something from the Gurkha Himalayan Kitchen!
Delicious food!! The goat was cooked to perfection and the spices were the right amount of delicious spice. Amazing, amazing, amazing!! Do yourself a favor and have a meal here.
A friend is headed to Nepal again so we had to try this restaurant in his honour. It was excellent, and according to he who had lived in Nepal for a year, very authentic. We had the yak dumplings as they were on special, added some chicken and vegetable dumplings in spicy sauce (spiced medium), then ordered The Works. Great choices all. Reasonably priced, and service very good.
Nice place, food was tasty, and service was good. Don't let the stairs keep you away. Prices in line with similar places.
