Last minute decision to go out to dinner so we called and were told they would fit us in at the bar by the kitchen as they were very busy. We arrived and as luck would have it, someone canceled a reservation so we had a great table. Bonny was our server and she was super! Knowledgeable about the special wines and the menu. Service was quick for such a busy night. The baguette was great and came with a chives garlic butter. A better Caesar salad would be difficult to find. The special salad was an excellent Caprese with red and yellow tomatoes, capers, basil, balsamic, red onion and bocconcini. The penne was meaty and good with a lovely hot Italian sausage. The Fett Chile was as excellent as always. The red Chilean wine special feature was awesome. Great evening!

The restaurant...is rather simple in its decor, but it truly works. This makes it very comfortable. There are several large pieces of art by the same artist. There may be one issue that some people would not like the long bench seating along three walls with a sizable table and two chairs opposite. We have sat in the bench seats before and found no issue with them. They're comfortable. There is a small bar, or bar chairs. Washrooms are super clean and bright . On this occasion we both had beef tenderloin and it was a nice size and the taste was awesome. Wide selection of wines there will be something for all tastes. This restaurant is for adults and definitely not children. They say it on their website and no age is given. We will return again.

Had an amazing dinner last night. Food was perfect. Only small issue would have been the noisy children. However that’s our bad because we booked a very early reservation. Can’t wait to come back!

We have enjoyed many meals from Cafe Carlo over the years, and there has never been a complaint, even though we have had the meals delivered by Mobile
Excellent chowder, ceasar salad as well as fettuccine. Wonderful service to top it off. Will definitely be going back!
