Nicely surprised by the quality, taste and customer service at Les Saj. Definitely, the best Middle Eastern food restaurant in Winnipeg. We went with family and we ordered different dishes. All of them were happy with their order.Will definitely be back there when I go to Winnipeg.
recently heard about this place and was not impressed. the food is just ok at best and the place is stuffy and smells funky. the staff at friendly, the prices are reasonable. This place might be worth a second dhance
Staff is friendly.Shawerma is not good, meat has no taste or flavor, all food is mediocre.And it was really hot inside.
Stopped in to check this place out. Had the Arabian Shawarma platter. Food was tasty and fresh, well prepared and presented on a wooden platter. Fair price for the amount of food you get. Owner was polite. Would definitely eat there again.
I've had the Lamb Kebab Saj Wrap 4 times now and each time it was simply outstanding!Tender and nicely seasoned lamb along with diced tomatoes, onions, lettuce, parsley, hummus, tahini and a mild garlic sauce all tightly nestled into an extremely thin house made SAJ wrap and served on a big wooden platter. The flour Saj, made on a domed griddle in the open kitchen, is superb - an absolute Must Try ! The Lamb Kebab is fantastic by itself but one can make it a combo for an extra $3 which includes a pop and choice of very good home made Fries or a nice Fattoush Salad. Friendly and helpful staff will expertly guide first timers so when you arrive I strongly recommend immediately asking for their advice as the menu items and how to order may be a bit confusing.
Food is delicious. Service is really great. Very pleasant staff. Authentic Saj bread, which is a very thin round bread. We had a beef donair, very tasty and slightly spiced. Also had za'atar. The herb one was so tasty. Washrooms were very clean. We will definitely be back.
