We have been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years and the food is always excellent. We've had pizza as well as steaks and its all very tasty. Our favorite is hawiian, but the meat pizza and the pepperoni are also very tasty. They also offer gluten free pizzas that my celiac friends say are some of the best they've had. I went there a week ago with friends and their young children. They enjoyed the ceasar salad and cheese pizza and the sweets that John gave them afterwards. It is very family friendly and lots of selection. It is also full service so you can get beer, wine or great hot cocoa. This is our go to restaurant when we have functions downtown after work, the service is fast and always friendly. We've had take out but they also deliver downtown so if you are here and looking for excellent food this is your place. No order is to big or small they can handle it. But when there is a Flames game you might want to make reservations as it gets very busy.
I miss working downtown because we used to get pizza from here for our meetings__The crust is excellent.

Very friendly reception, We were looking for the well known upper level patio!Great views---which would be complimented with better and more appropriatepatio furniture.But most important-------Fabulous tasting pizza! Fresh ingredients! Good service.And one off the best reputations for delivery in downtown.Job well done John!We will certainly be back!
Normally, I do not order pizza, particularly thick-crust pizza in restaurants, but Michael's pizza is an exception. I don't know what they do, but their crust is exceptional. The toppings are good too, and generous in quantity, but that crust, wow! Michael's also serves beer, and what goes better with pizza than beer? The restaurant is also centrally located; close to The Flames Saddledome, Stampede grounds, and downtown and there are a variety of places to park near by.
Despite many other pizza places trying to modernize their menu, Michael's knows they have a great pizza and they don't change. Thick crust, lots of gooey cheese, a good distribution of toppings. Never a complaint when Michael's pizza shows up!
