We visited this place for our 25th wedding anniversary on Tuesday. I mentioned this fact when I made the reservation, and the person at the front did say happy anniversary, but our server did not seem to know, and I did not want to mention it again. Place was busy, but not packed. Our server was very helpful and attentive, and the food was very good. It did seem a little pricey though. When we left around 6:30 it became very noisy and it was hard to talk to each other. Overall, though a good experience
This was my first time there. Very busy as lots or people waiting to get in. You pretty much need a reservation to get in. The food was wonderful as was the service. Looking forward to going back.
Dinner out with old friends from university. We had a great night with amazing food! Definitely need to try the Crispy Potato rolls, Chicken Ravioli with truffle and the half chicken. Top it off with a slice of their famous cheesecake- it is fantastic!Service was friendly and helpful. Definitely make a reservation for dinner. We had a wonderful time catching up - the restaurant was super busy that night so at times a little slow getting drinks and such - but for a group of friends that haven't seen in each other in a few years it was just fine. Definitely a place we would visit again.
We were only able to get a table on the patio as we didn’t have a reservation. Notably all the children were on the patio and the inside was not busy so we did wonder if perhaps they told all families the same story. The...patio tables are cute but it’s seriously difficult to sit at them as there is no room to put your legs. Lesson learned to make a reservation and then they can’t divert you outside if you arrive with kids. The food however was delicious and the staff were friendly. We tried the taste of Alberta menu and it was fantastic. It would have been even nicer if it included a wine pairing. They also offer free parking in the parkade next door which is a bonus if you know about it!
We had a 6:45 pm reservation last night. Restaurant was not overly busy at all. We were seated to out table right away. The hostess and sever were excellent. Friendly greeting and sever really took the extra effort to accommodate my daughter's dairy and egg allergy.We ordered 3 appetizers. The Caesar salad, Calamari and the Ravioli. The caesar salad was delicious. Had little bits of cured bacon and the the lettuce was roasted a bit to give it a light char flavour. The Calamari was cooked perfectly and the various sauces and little slices of jalapenos gave it a nice kick. The Ravioli was also very good. It was loaded with sea food and the pasta bite was perfect. The creamy sauce was very good with some salmon eggs.
We had a 5:30PM reservation but arrived early. The Hostess said if we came back at 4:30PM she could get us in early so that is what we did. Our server was awesome!!!!.My husband ordered the cod and I ordered the Salmon. Both our dishes were cooked to perfection. We could not be happier with our dining experience.
The food is great and good for the kids. If you have kids, go there earlier and please do rsvp. We were there last year.
We visit Notables a couple times a year and are never disappointed. Their chicken is so good as is their other dishes. It's a bit pricey but great for a special occasion. Their is parking underneath the restaurant.
